Release of PPL 1 for Pre-Service Professional Teacher (PPG Prajab) Batch 1 in 2024

Mataram, January 31, 2024 – The Faculty of Education (FKIP) at Mataram University recently marked a pivotal moment with the ceremonial release of the Field Experience Practice 1 (PPL 1) for students enrolled in the Pre-Service Professional Teacher Education Program (PPG Prajab) Batch 1 for the year 2024.

The solemn event unfolded at the forefront of Building A at FKIP UNRAM and saw the participation of 244 PPL 1 students. Over the course of 16 weeks, these students will embark on the first phase of practical experience, laying the foundation for their journey towards becoming proficient educators.

Dr. H. Dadi Setiadi, M.Sc., Chairman of PPG FKIP UNRAM, delivered an insightful report during the ceremony. Participants were not only equipped with practical insights but were also inspired with messages emphasizing the importance of self-directed learning within the context of the Merdeka curriculum. Dr. Setiadi stressed the continuous need for personal development and reminded them that the PPG journey demands unwavering commitment, with no breaks until graduation.

Representing the Dean, Dr. Saprizal Hadisaputra, S.Si., M.Sc., Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at FKIP UNRAM, delivered an impassioned address to the participants. He encouraged them to maintain discipline in scheduling activities, uphold the reputation of the schools hosting their PPL, and preserve the honorable name of their alma mater. Stressing the significance of discipline, he highlighted the importance of seeking guidance from Mentor Teachers, School Principals, and Field Supervisors (DPL).

Dr. Hadisaputra expressed the hope that participants would not only compete but also collaborate for collective success during their PPL 1. The event concluded with the official release, marking the commencement of their educational journey and personal development as resilient future educators.
