Mataram, January 18th, 2024 – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Mataram held an Academic Orientation for Pre-Service Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG Prajab) Batch 1 students in 2024 at the Lombok Raya Hotel, Mataram. A total of 244 students from the Indonesian Language Study Program, PGSD (Primary School Teacher Education), and Mathematics Education participated in this event. The orientation aims to provide understanding and essential information to participants so that they can prepare themselves as Pre-Service PPG Prajab.
In the report, the Head of PPG, Dr. H. Dadi Setiadi, M.Sc., stated that Batch 1 participants will gain important insights about this program. The materials presented cover various aspects of education, PPG Prajab program policies, and learning techniques. Dr. H. Dadi Setiadi enthusiastically encouraged participants to take part in this orientation with great determination, considering the great responsibility they carry as prospective professional teachers.
The Dean of FKIP UNRAM, represented by Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Saprizal Hadisaputra, S.Si., M.Sc., emphasized the participants’ full commitment to independent work, integrity and honesty. He also motivated participants to understand various competencies in the world of education. Following the official opening of the activity, a series of important materials began, including an explanation of the 2024 PPG Prajab policy by Dr. Saprizal Hadisaputra, lecture orientation by Dr. H. Dadi Setiadi, technical learning by Dr. Arjudin, and SIMPKB explanation by PPG admin, Kadek S. D. Putra, S.Pd., and Adhar, S.Pd.
The event was closed by Dr. Saprizal Hadi Saputra. This orientation marks the beginning of an interesting journey for PPG Prajab students. It is expected to involve them competently in the world of education. The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of University of Mataram remains committed to forming competent and ethical teachers who play a role in developing the Indonesian education sector.
