Mataram, December 19, 2023 – The Coordinator of the In-Service Teacher Education Program (PPG Daljab), Dr. Baharuddin, M.Hum, led the Coordination Meeting for the Implementation of PPG Daljab Phase 3 in 2023. In his address, Dr. Baharuddin reaffirmed the commitment to achieve a 100% graduation rate and discussed various issues related to the implementation of this program. Dr. Baharuddin stated, “We have an ambitious target to graduate all PPG Daljab students in this phase. To achieve this, we need to collectively address various potential issues, including organizational aspects, guidance from lecturers, support from mentor teachers, and the active participation of the participants themselves.”
During the same occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Mataram University, Drs. Lalu Zulkifli, M.Si., Ph.D, provided guidance and officially opened the coordination meeting. He emphasized the importance of input and suggestions from all parties in enhancing the quality of the learning process in PPG Daljab. “We are committed to maintaining a 100% graduation rate, but this should not compromise quality. Input and suggestions from all parties are crucial to ensure that the learning process aligns with the established quality standards,” said the Dean of FKIP.
The Dean of FKIP added that achieving a 100% graduation rate for PPG Daljab is a measure of success, but if it does not meet the set quality standards, those criteria must be upheld. This aligns with the efforts of Mataram University to produce graduates who are not only numerous but also of high quality.
The coordination meeting is expected to create synergy among all parties involved in the implementation of PPG Daljab, fostering a conducive learning environment, and producing graduates ready to make positive contributions to the education sector in Indonesia.
