Targeting a 99 percent pass rate, the PPG FKIP Unram applies previous good practices

Mataram, March 8, 2024 – The PPG FKIP Unram aims to graduate at least 99 percent of participants registered in category 1 phase 3 this year. It was announced at a coordination meeting held last Friday, March 8, at the Aston Hotel.

This aspiration is not detached from the achievement of the previous year, which graduated 98 percent of participants who attended the PPG UKM. With the previous achievement, PPG is determined to meet the 99 percent graduation target, stated Dr. Syaiful Musaddat as the Coordinator of PPG Daljab. This high target is certainly faced with several new challenges encountered by participants in phase 3 of PPG.

The first challenge is clearly from the number of participants who attended the PPG UKM, which is still not 100 percent of the total number of participants in phase 3. It will certainly affect the targeted number of graduates. Therefore, the PPG FKIP Unram management continues to make efforts to contact participants who have lost contact during several class activities.

Another challenge in this phase 3 is the change in the question grid from the previous phase and needs attention together if we want to achieve the desired target. The change is responded to very quickly by the PPG FKIP Unram management so that the target can be achieved in this period. “We have coordinated with the enrichment team to adjust the enrichment materials with the applicable question grid so that they can be used in this PPG UKM phase,” said Dr. Saiful.

In addition to the question grid, the process of uploading PPG participant case study documents must also go through a plagiarism checking process in order to pass to the next stage. Fortunately, the PPG management at FKIP Unram has provided Turnitin facilities for checking these documents.

The quick response to policy changes in this PPG UKM is appreciated by the Dean of FKIP Unram, Drs. Lalu Zulkifli, M.Si., Ph.D. In his speech at last Friday’s meeting, he expressed his appreciation for all the teams that have worked and coordinated in preparing for the final PPG exam. He also reminded to continue maintaining the quality of graduates so that the program accreditation can also significantly get an excellent predicate. “We are optimistic that the field assessments we have conducted previously in one of the programs will spread to other programs including PPG,” said the Dean of FKIP.

Hopefully, with the efforts that have been made, the target to be achieved in this phase of graduation will get the best results.
